CLS and the Environment

The CLS team are experienced in building to the highest Breeam and code standards and strive to become a leader in using new sustainable building products such as the Durisol block and WPL's rain water harvesting solutions. We are committed to lowering the carbon footprint in all of our projects where possible and are always interested in innovative, bespoke sustainable build projects and building materials.

The Office

CLS Construction is proactive in trying to reduce our carbon footprint. In order to accomplish this, our aim is to work towards  a 'paperless office' . This includes sending and receiving of invoices via email with our suppliers, making our brochures available to download via the website or be sent in a PDF format to our prospective clients. Utilising low energy lighting within the office as well as monitoring our heating, recycling and vehicle usage.

On Site

CLS construction works in line with the considerate builders programme to promote high standards on all building sites to the seven-point Code of Good Practice, as below. Wherever possible recycled materials are used to lower our carbon footprint and we also recycle the waste coming out of our sites.

Seven-point Code of Good Practice:

  1. Be considerate
  2. Be quiet
  3. Be clean
  4. Be tidy
  5. Be safe
  6. Be responsible
  7. Be accountable
