New Build 3 bedroom Residential Dwelling

Crawford Partnership Ltd awarded CLS the Marksbury Avenue contract in early September 2010.

The project was for the end-to-end construction of a contemporary three bedroom family home that maximised the potential of a very constrained site. The development also had to conform to code for sustainable homes level 3 and provide enough external space to be of real use to a young family.

The build consisted of a basement and ground floor storey home with all the accommodation situated in the basement, and an open plan living, dining, kitchen on the ground floor which opens up to the garden.

The design cleverly minimizes the building's visual impact on the surrounding area through the use of 'open' basement levels complete with two large light wells to draw in natural light.

"...we have had a very positive experience working with CLS. They were very competitive in their tender and provided alternative cheaper options when the budget became an issue. Their site is also perhaps the cleanest I have ever visited!"
